Terms And Conditions

  1. Ensure your dog is fit and healthy before attending the grooming appointment. (Grooming of sick and elderly dogs is entirely at the OWNERS RISK. we reserve the right to stop the groom and send the dog home at any point, you understand that the full payment for the groom will be expected in this circumstance. Grooming may also uncover pre-existing skin and health conditions that the owner may not be aware of, we can advise but do not have the applicable knowledge to diagnose a dog’s condition and we cannot be held liable for any suspected diagnosis, please always consult your local veterinarian for health-related issues of your pets).

  2. Veterinary advice is that your dog is vaccinated and kept up to date. It is entirely at the owner’s risk if the dog is not vaccinated or does not receive their boosters and we cannot be held liable if your dog catches an illness or ailment.

  3. A Vaccination card must be shown on the first appointment.

  4. You must understand and agree that if an injury occurred to an animal during grooming, this will be covered by insurance but does not extend to human injury. (The welfare of your dog is our first priority. In the event of serious injury, a vet will be sought out. All costs in connection with this will be at the owner’s expense, please insure your dog. If it can be proven that we are liable, we will need a vet report to send to our own insurer.)

  5. Payment will be taken on the collection of your dog. Any quote given before the groom is estimated and your dog’s groom may be more expensive depending on coat condition and temperament/difficulty to groom, this will be discussed at drop off. Owners must be on time for their appointment, any later than 15 minutes to the grooming appointment or forgetting about the 24hrs cancellation notice, the groom will be automatically cancelled and a cancellation fee is charged (£10). Owners must also collect their dogs at the given time, failure to collect on time (20 minutes late) will incur a dog sitting charge (£15, additional £5 per 10 minutes).

  6. Clipping off a matted coat will completely change your dog’s appearance and could also aggravate pre-existing skin conditions (usually caused by tight matts). We will need to get your written permission to drop off a matted coat.

  7. We reserve the right to refuse an aggressive or highly anxious dog that is a risk to itself or the groomer.

  8. We will not accept sedated dogs, it is safer for the dog and the groomer for the dog to be groomed at the vets.
